Co-Founder & CEO
Born in London & raised in Georgia, Raj fell into tech at 21 in L.A. pioneering the early ad network industry before helping build global startup teams at Rubicon Project (NYSE: RUBI), OpenX and Adslot (ASX: ADJ). With a passion for emerging markets and creating killer culture, Raj jumped into cannabis at the end of 2017, excited to bring a background of marketing & tech into the fastest growing industry in the world.
Co-Founder & Director of Business Development
As an LA native, Matt grew up with a passion for music and worked at BMG managing licensing and artist deals at a very young age. He built a library of 30 artists representing 2,000 tracks for licensing. Now with four years experience in the cannabis industry including running a delivery business in L.A. Matt manages sales, business development and the events team at Grow Studios.
Director of Client Services & Operations
Born and raised in Sydney, but a true global citizen, Andrew has been in the marketing business for 30 years. During this time, he has worked for a variety of international agencies including a 17-year stint with Saatchi and Saatchi, living and working in Australia, London, Brussels and the U.S. While focused on account management, strategy and operations, Andrew has also played a hand in creating award-winning work for clients that include, Toyota, Lexus, Red Bull, Diesel, Gatorade, and Kellogg’s. Andrew’s looking forward to taking this robust experience and helping to scale and build a solid and legitimate cannabis industry.
Senior Account Executive
Danielle is a Pennsylvania State University graduate and South Carolina native that has been working in the communications field for over 6 years. After working for a marketing firm in Kansas City with clients like ConAgra Foods, she moved to Tel Aviv, Israel where she contributed her social media, content creation and client service know-how to an Israeli startup and international boutique branding agency. Since moving to Los Angeles, she’s using her personal passion to drive the cannabis industry forward in a positive, professional way.
Taryn has 14+ years of design, creative and agency experience. She has managed large teams and major brand initiatives over the years at fast-paced startups like Adconion and Steelhouse Media. As the leader of the Grow Studios creative design team, Taryn’s influence can be seen across many brand logos, websites and ad creative.
Vanessa has a background working in both residential and commercial interior design. She has been designing since receiving her degree in 2007 from the
Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising
in DTLA. She began her studies at the
New York School of Interior Design.
In NYC Vanessa worked in high-end showrooms and assisted top designers for
Holland and Sherry
the Decoration & Design Building
(D&D). Vanessa leads all interior design for Grow Retail customers and is involved heavily in the retailer brand creation.
Morgan has a background in both cannabis and comedy, which happens to be two of her favorite things. Her experience in comedy started in sketch and improv, which led her to the production world, where she has created and produced a number of digital series. Some of said series can be seen in dispensaries across Los Angeles, created during her two years working as a writer and producer in cannabis. Now, Morgan hopes to continue to spread her comedy with cannabis.
Bennet had a long career working in-house for technology, e-commerce and internet companies. He held positions as legal, business & government affairs counsel for companies including Valueclick (now Conversant). In 2007 Bennet created the Internet Law Center as an independent practice. He was named one of the nation’s top internet lawyers by several publications including the LA Business Journal (Oneof the Most Influential Lawyers in Digital Media & E-Commerce). Bennet handles all privacy & media legal needs for Grow.
TR Harrington is an entrepreneur, mentor, student (BC ’93; CEIBS ’03; Darden ’04) & global exec w/20+ year experience in marcom, technology, bizdev & product dev for startups and MNC brands (Alibaba, Tencent, China Mobile; Apple, Dell, Gucci, Sephora, L’Oreal, Booking, Agoda). He founded and sold Shanghai-based Darwin Marketing, a 100 team strong SEO + Performance Marketing agency to Dentsu/Aegis/iProspect in 2016. For Grow he advises on SEO and agency growth strategy.
Adam Barrow is a sr. exec who helped shape business strategy for Ford Motor Co. and in entertainment supported content acquisitions at NBC Universal’s Focus Features & Propagate Content. In cannabis as head of BD for Green St. Adam led the brand & licensing initiatives for 2 Chainz, The Game, and Super Troopers. Currently he is Director of BD at RISE Logistics, a subsidiary of Dionymed Holdings. He studied business at the Haas School at UC Berkeley & production at UCLA. Adam advises Grow on licensing and distribution.
Eric Theise has two decades of sales experience transforming small businesses into nationally recognized companies. His focus on top line growth has been instrumental in achieving dominant market share for Computer Generated Solutions Inc., Crunch Fitness, Swiss Army Apparel, Bloom Farm & others. Eric is a graduate of Brandeis University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology.
Growing up in Venice, Joey has always been heavily involved in visual and performing arts. His passion for art history and design lead him to Cal State Northridge to study graphic design and creative art. As a designer for Grow, Joey has proudly helped build some of the brands seen on shelves today.
As a 2X Googler Casey has a very strong tech background that started with his early days of publishing when he helped build the ad operations & monetization teams at Weather Underground (WU). As an early team member for multiple exits including tech startups WU, Admeld and iSocket Casey’s counsel on technology, sales and startup life is invaluable to Grow.
